Wichita Lineman

A crack and four bolts of well-protected 5.8 friction/face lead to the large ledge just at the base of Welcome to Courtright. This is an excellent pitch to add to the beginning of "Welcome" for a great six-pitch climb.

The climb starts further down the black streak that marks the beginning of Welcome to Courtright. This climb finishes just at the start of "Welcome." You can scramble down to the start of the route from the main approach ledge for Power Dome (as an alternative to scrambling up to the higher ledge that marks the beginning of most of the main routes up the right side of the Dome).

Four bolts to a two bolt anchor just shy of the ledge, with optional gear (#3 C4 works) for the crack at the start.
