Refritos

Named for the popular side dish at the Faralito restaurant in the town of El Rito, Refritos is an alternate first pitch for Chili Verde, and it joins that route at Juniper Ledge midway up the cliff. It follows an obvious black streak, with sparse pro but fun climbing and fewer bushes than nearby climbs on this cliff. Creative leaders might find gear but don't fall. Follow the 2nd pitch of Chile Verde (a left-facing corner) to top out.

This climb takes on the black streak, which is almost directly in front of you as you reach the cliff from the approach trail.
