The Dark Bulge

FA unknown
CREATED
UPDATED

Description

Starting with your hands on a pair of crimpers 5 and a half feet off the deck or so. Use scant feet to get yourself off of the deck and climb the crimps up and slightly left to a jug which will allow you to gain the horizontal that runs above the problem. As far as I can tell, this is only V0 for the tall, and becomes at least partially a campusing problem for someone less than 5' 10" or so.

Location

Just before the down climb crack at the extreme left side of the Doug's Roof area there is a dark bulge on the rock.

The left side of Doug's Roof: 1. The Dark Bulge (V0), 2. Blasting Hole Problem Left (V1), 3. Blasting Hole Problem Right (V2), 4. Larsen's Leap (V1), 5. Gill's Double Clutch (V4), 6. Middle Traverse (V1), 6a. Middle Traverse Variation 1 (V1), 6b. Middle Traverse Variation 2 (V1), 7. High Traverse (V4), 7a. High Traverse Variation 1 (V4), 8. Left Bulge (V2), 9. Direct Bulge (V6), 10. Low Traverse (V0)
