Win, Lose, No Draws

Description

Win, Lose, No Draws is a deceptive-looking route of sustained difficulty, punctuated by a number of rests. Straight off the deck pull strenuous moves to obtain a corner system rest. Ascend a brief arete by edging and then probe for purchase on slopers. Traverse over the anchors of The Little King on a large ledge. Regroup and then battle to the chains using sidepulls and pockets. This one isn't over until you've clipped the chains.

I personally enjoyed this route much more than I was expecting. The movement was varied and challenging; the rock was seemingly solid. Is it better than nearby routes of comparable difficulty? I'm not sure. Is it worth climbing at some point? Definitely.

Location

Win, Lose, No Draws is on the far left side of the King formation. It is the second route from the left. The Little King is to the left; Kings Arete is to the right.

Protection

Approximately 12 bolts to leaver biners. There is a chain draw midway to aid in cleaning.
