MapNo Country For Old Man Hands
Description
This is possibly one of the best splitters in the San Luis Valley. This crack is clean and eats big hands for breakfast. Tape up.
Sit start in the alcove, and negotiate the roof turn on steep #0.75s. Once you turn the roof, it opens quickly into a hand crack splitter. As the difficulty eases, the crack widens up into #4s before you top out at a proper height!
Location
It is located in the large meadow near the sport climbing routes. This thing sits proudly on the heart of the "Quarry". Look for a large standalone boulder that looks like an anvil on the Southwest side of the meadow.
Protection
Pads. It has a great landing.
