MapDescription
"Launch Ledge" is a great place to "launch" a climb of Bruin, True Colors, L'Anniversaire, Rhino Skin, Dead Easy and Livin' Easy.
Starting from toe of the slab, scramble/walk up left-ish to the watercourse and then to the flattish area of darkly colored rock.
Scramble [class 3/4] , or climb belayed, up the obvious, right-trending, Class 3/4 ramp-and-broken-corner (photo) about 75 ft to the last, spacious ( 3 ft x 5 ft) ledge with a bomber crack for medium cams at its base. (photo)
If the watercourse is wet and not to your liking, it is possible to ascend the grey rock starting from about 1/2 way up from the toe to the watercourse. This is more difficult (about 5.2 R/X ) and some may want a belay here.
Protection
The "crux" at the 4 ft high corner could be protected with a small-medium gear.
In the spring, or other times when wet, the slab to the right of the corner can be climbed easily (Class 3, class 4, or 5.0, depending on your definition)
