Description
[Edit]Mount Abbe is an island of granite in the midst of a giant mountain range of really bad rock. Most of the Chugach-Saint Elias-Fairweather ranges are composed of trench scrapings like the infamous Chugach Crud of Turnagain Arm ("climbing" near Anchorage). A terrible accident following the first ascent may be the reason this excellent peak remains relatively unknown.
