Description
[Edit]Dozens of large boulders litter the hillsides outside of the Nelson ghost town. While the rock quality is hit and miss, the good rock is definitely worth the trip. The rock type is volcanic rhyolite, so it is a good option if red rock is wet from rain. Most of the problems currently fall in the moderate range (V0 - V4) but there is opportunity for harder climbs to be developed in the future.
