- Edit (TBD)
Description
The crux is on the first half of the route - follow smallish nubs past two old 1/4" hangerless bolt stems, then some easier ground to the top.
Avoid the temptation to use the sharp flaky crimps you might come across, as they will probably dinner plate right off.
You can bail to easier ground to the right of the line... just watch the fall line when equalizing your TR anchor.
Location
While heading up the High Peaks Trail some time after Discovery Wall, you will see a climber's access path on the left marked by a carabiner sign. Follow this path a few hundred feet to the Carousel formation.
When facing the uphill side of the Carousel, this route ascends the right-hand face.
Protection
TR only. Up top: two pairs of good-looking bolts (ca. 2017), along w/ one older one. One pair works better for this route than the other -- it should be obvious when you see it.
You can boulder up the downhill side to drop your toprope.
