Visions of Yesteryears

As Manny and I were setting up an anchor to get to the top of Visions of Yesteryears, I was taking in the amazing views of the canyon and saw for the first time the Indian ruins that were the home of a people long ago. I let my mind wander for a short time of what it must have been like to live in this beautiful area and what it must have been like to have sat out side their home and watch the falls and the sun set on the pine covered mountains. I felt like for a moment that I had just bonded with a people blessed to have called this beautiful area home.

The route is the obvious left trending corner crack on south side of the falls. It has three very distint cruxes. The first is thin hands off the ground. The second is an overhanging stemming section, and the last gaurds the finish in a short right facing dihedral.
