Description

This route was scoped out a couple of years ago and I never got around to equipping it. I finally got out to finish it. I named it "Forester" in honor of my late friend Jimmy Forester.

The Forester starts just right of Little Monster (the obvious small crack)

Climb up through the broken ledge to the overhang. The first bolt is actually really easy to reach despite its high appearance. (this was done intentionally to try and prevent hitting the ledge while clipping the second bolt. Climb up and right of the first bolt on small crimps (sequency crux). The climbing is pretty sustained but eases off towards the top. After the last bolt, trend right to a shared anchor with Stray Dog.

I called it 11a, but would be curious to see what others think.

Protection

3 lead Bolts. Shares Anchors with Stray Dog

Bolted on lead with hooks.
