A Walk in the Park

Description

One of the best moderate highballs in the Valley! Although the first move is the hardest, the last move is undoubtedly the mental crux.

Start with a good hold on the arete and a right hand crimp on the face. Pull on to the face and climb up perfect crimps until a heavily chalked horizontal pinch. Consider yourself lucky if you're tall enough to statically lock off to the top from here; otherwise, you'll have to get creative. Alternate beta includes a dyno to the jug lip. Yep. Great problem for getting your head screwed on straight before the stuff up the hill.

Location

When heading up the hill, this is on the opposite side of the trail as the hex boulder. Visible from the trail.
