Description

Mel's climb is a short but exciting edgy face climb. If it had a clean landing it would be a boulder problem. Due to the of the deck nature of the start it was bolted to make for a good mini sport lead.

Location

Cougar Crag West. Follow Quarry Trail to the amphitheater, which is located just after the Sesame Street Buttress. Mel's climb is the short bolted face on the right side of the amphitheater.

Protection

3 bolts. Small tree anchor.
