Smearing for Gold

Stand start low on good crimps. Work your way up interesting crimps and sidepulls into a shallow dihedral. Make one committing foot smearing move to get above the dihedral (crux) and reach for a good hold then the top.

In the tight corridor between the two biggest boulders in this area, just right of the v0/vB ledgey problem listed here as "Hollow Heart".
