Description

Climb tough opening moves up grey rock to a stance below a small roof. Exit to the right (10-) or stay left and pull the roof (10). Both variations finish on the same anchor.

Named for Vernon Phinney's aggressive cleaning from big blocks at the rim of the cliff above the climb.  The aftermath makes good seats for putting on your shoes at the base of the climb.
