Short Person's Disease

Description

Make an awkward heave/mantle onto the sloping ledge of the megaflake, and an even more awkward rising traverse along it to its upper right end. Increasingly awkward moves escape the confines of the megaflake, out right onto a short, steep, and bottomless face. Follow the vertical crack to freedom on the easy slab above left, to the top. If there's one Crane route not to be missed - if you are three feet tall - this is it. Otherwise, it's a miserable cramped trial.

Location

Near the left end of the UpMW is a cave. This route begins near the right side of the cave, at a horizontal "megaflake" suspended 4' off the floor of the cave. Walk off either left or right.

Protection

Small to big cams, a medium stopper or two.
