The Finger Flakes

Description

Belay at a big right side facing flake with thin hands and good protection. Continue up to the right to a ledge short ledge - continue up the right trending fingercrack - good protection but not much feet to place gear. Place protection before topping out. No anchors and a steep scramble after topping out to build a trad anchor.

Location

Park at the moon lake trail and take the trail 1.5 miles before hitting the second talus field. Continue up the second talus field, keeping the first sandstone cliff to your left. The routes begin to appear after reaching the tree line.

Protection

I placed a BD .75, .5, #1, and silver stopper. One more .4 would have protected the crux if you're uncomfortable with finger locks with poor feet.
