Because It's There (aka Palisade Pinnacle)

High up above the main street of Palisade on the sky line can be seen a small spire. This is it! It was there, so went up it! There is very loose sandstone.

Walk the trail behind the crags above the town of Palisade that leads to the summit Flag. About one hour.

One loose bolt to the summit and one loose bolt on the summit to retreat.
