Pump House Direct

FA unknown who did the FA...thought we were the first, but then noticed an anchor up top. This anchor services two climbs, so it's unclear still.

Description

This climb is river-right and hard to miss as you look across the river from the road just before you reach the main Pump Houe area. Look for diagnosing splitter through calcium streaks. Start atop a ledge ten feet up and climb the obvious splitter crack that diagonals the calcium streaked face. Begin with a 1" finger crack that quickly widens to tight hands (5.10) until it eventually widens farther for short OW pod (5.11). It then slims again (2") before the top. It is well worth the wet feet to get there!

Location

This crack is the obvious splitter (across river) that faces up river…look for calcium streaks after you pull over the first big hill past the campground.

Friend sizing: 1"-1.5" - 3 each; 2"-2.5 - 3 each; 3"-4" - 2 each.

A 2 bolt anchor services this route and the corner next to it.
