Description
This crack is located directly below a small pine tree toward the left end of the outcrop. It is immediately right of a corner which leads to a gently sloped ramp adjacent to a right facing dihedral. The crack starts slightly left leaning and about mid-way the crack is slightly right leaning. The face climbing to the side of the crack is easy. There is still some moss--I cleaned it as I went the first time. At the top sling the tree for protection and continue up the ramp to bolts and chains--this part needs more parties and some easy cleaning. This is a nice moderate climb for someone new to placing gear who wants some practice. The route name is meant to be a word play on terms an organic chemist will appreciate and find fun.
Location
Use the corner leading up to a large right facing dihedral for orientation--this is a crack system directly below a small pine tree and to the right of that corner. All the moss is gone where it matters and the climb is safe. As more climbers climb it the remaining moss in spots will disappear.
Protection
Gear to 1.5" to possibly 2" inches--some small cams work very well and the crack is solid.
