Description

Traverse along the lip of a slightly overhanging boulder near The Womb.  Start on the side closest to The Womb and traverse for a foot or two before rounding the corner and moving to the much longer side with a single black streak running down its center.  Reach the end of the longer side and round a second corner before topping out on the slab side.  The lip is an obvious rail about 8-10 feet off the ground.  There is a small boulder on the ground near the first corner to be aware of.

[Not listed in the guidebook, but seems like an obvious line.]

A note on the name: The climb is adjacent to a popular boulder and v-easy called "The Womb," which arguably has a faint resemblance to an actual womb.  I like it when climbs in an area or on a specific cliff/boulder all stick to a single theme in how they are named, and when I name new climbs, I always try to keep with the existing theme.  The thinking here was that this problem sits just below The Womb, in a figurative sense like how a cervix sits below a womb in a woman's body.  So the idea was that these two boulders are like two parts of anatomy that go together.

Location

About 20-30 yards west of The Womb (toward Park Blvd) among a small patch of boulders.  The edge will be obvious.

Protection

Crash pad.
