Steeper, more exposed, and more sustained than the west face is the route up the southwest gully. It's only fourth class, but there's a lot of loose and dirty rock--it is a gully, after all.
I've only descended this route, so that might be biasing my opinion of it. Overall, though, I'd say the west face or the south face are more enjoyable objectives.
Location
Long, obvious gully just right of the prominent ridgeline that you ascend as you make your way to the summit block.
Protection
No protection necessary.
