P1 (class 3, 80ft) - Begin climbing left of a wide, loose chimney, and work up to the top of the ridge.
P2 (class 4, 200ft) - A full pitch leads along the ridge to a large ledge on the west face. Move the belay to the south end of the ledge.
P3 (class 4, 80ft) - Ascend the ramp upward to its apex.
P4 (5.6, 90ft) - Climb two open books to a 20ft scrambling finish.
Descent: Rap the route or the east face.
Location
Hike the PCT to above Joe Lake, then turn north into the basin west of the peak. Climb the scree slope to the base of the face.
Protection
Small alpine rack to 2 inches.
