Description

WARNING: it is illegal and dangerous to climb routes on CU campus. Any climbing is undertaken at the climber's own risk.

This wall was first notably climbed in the Sender Films movie

"Front Range Freaks"

(2003). While there are many possible variations, the most popular and longest problem is to follow the hypotenuse of the triangle up to the top right corner and top out. The stone is solid, with bricks jutting out a couple inches to provide stellar crimps. The topout is not any more difficult than the rest, and the roof can be walked off of to avoid downclimbing.

If the highball exposure is a little much, one can also get a pump traversing back and forth a couple feet from the ground.

Featured in the film

Real Rock An Urban Climbing Experience

, releasing May 2019.

Location

This wall is found on the south side of CU's math building (Gimmell Library).

Protection

None is required.
