Description

Crouch start with your right hand on a large, blocky ledge and, your left hand on a slopey arete, your left food smeared below the left foot, and your right foot smeared anywhere on the rock below your right hand. Move your left hand out far to the lip of the roof, then right heel hook next to your right hand. Move your right hand to the lip to a small dish, bump your left hand up to a good hold, and move your right hand to where your left hand used to be. Then do a big move out left to a good jug. While you do these moves, your right heel hook goes to a toe hook. Once you have the good left hand jug, cut your right foot toe hook. From here, heel hook the dish on the lip that you had used as a handhold, pull up, and your right hand uses a sidepull. Stand up, and traverse left once you are below the detached choss of rock sitting on top of the helmet.

Location

It is directly up the hill from the Moccasin Slabs, but it takes about 5 minutes or so to zig zag up the hill due to trees, boulders, and deadfall.
