Description

Good quality, highly textured basalt rising directly from Lake Superior. The best approach is by SUP or kayak. There are okay gear placements every 15-20 feet, with a bomber #3 placement at the halfway point. Anchoring off of trees is prohibited by the City of Marquette.

Location

Located about 200 meters north of the pinnacle. The best approach is to paddle by SUP or kayak from the breakwall beach. 

Protection

Standard rack. If anchoring SUPs or kayaks at base, there is a crack at water level that will take a .75 or 1.
