Sit start in middle of roof using bottom ledges for feet (similar to Hardtack). Traverse up and left towards the horn of the arete using dyno for reach - utilizing a small crimp hold and a couple 'bomber' jugs along the way. Then hook heel around arete and "shimmy" towards the horn utilizing a series of heel hooks and jugs until you reach the horn/ledge for top out (or, instead of the "shimmy" method, use a Higher placed Left heel hook onto ledge of the horn and dynamically rock/pop-up over the the lip to a top-out).

Dougout Boulder can be difficult to find and requires some off-trail traverse through brambles. Backside (Northern visage) is viewable from Gravel Boulder when looking South. However, the dug out area for climbing is hidden until you are right on top of it. Suggest using satellite view and photos for assistance.
