Special Delivery

This is the right dihedral on the SW (lake) side of the Caesarian tower.

Start by climbing up to large ledge. Facing the tower, you'll see 2 obvious dihedrals. The left one is Caesarian Tower and the right one is Special Delivery.

Combine this climb with Birthday Boulder for some interesting variations.

Hike up the Birthday Rocks climbers trail until you dead end at the tower. Birthday Chimney will be on the left. The large ledge is on the right that is reached easily with a few moves up some blocks. Sometimes the belayer and climber will both scramble up to the large ledge and start the climb from there.

The large ledge can be attained by scrambling up the blocks on the NW side of the ledge (right of Ceasarian West Face), or by scrambling up the back (SE) side and squeezing through a narrow slot between the tower and the spire atop Birthday Boulder.

Better yet, climb any way up the Birthday Boulder to the large ledge and then up Special Delivery, or climb up the right side of Birthday Boulder to the top of the spire atop BB and then do a cool step-across to the Special Delivery dihedral.
