Sammy's Growl

The rock quality is great, brush it just a little and it feels amazing. This is a nice short boulder that offers a flat landing below if you fall.

This boulder is part of the Steed Creek boulder. Once you see the boulder on your right side, you will see the flat landing that is slightly elevated above the trail.

Start sitting, both hands on a rail, both feet to your left side. Up about 18 inches is a great place for a heel-hook to hold you at the start. Then jam your left foot into the crack to hold you for the next move.
