Climb the crack, using mostly horizontal gear placements to a dihedral. Stem and climb the dihedral to the cold shuts on the ledge. Crux is dealing with pine tree branches at the start of the route.

This route and "out of the pines" start below the finktion wall ledge. You will see two cold shuts below ordinary bypass. Rap down and you will see the two bolts on the face for the "out of the pines" variation
